The Monastery of the Assumption of Dzogbégan gathered the faithful for the Golden Jubilee of Reverend Sister Yesua-Madeba. Half a century of monastic life celebrated with fervor.
Perched high above Danyi, the monastery provided a fitting setting for this living tribute. Since 1976, Sister Yesua-Madeba has dedicated her life to prayer and work. This jubilee marks a rare devotion. She carries the Church and the world within the seclusion of the cloister. The local community expressed its profound gratitude for this spiritual beacon.
The event took on a solemn dimension with distinguished guests. Father Abbot Théodore Coco , Abbot of the Abbey of the Ascension, made the trip. His presence symbolized the unity and fraternity of the region's communities. Together, the religious raised their voices in thanksgiving.
