The parish delegates have drawn up the annual report and planned their future social actions.

KINSHASA – The driving forces of ecclesiastical charity mobilized. On Saturday, July 18, 2026, the Lindonge Pastoral Center hosted the General Assembly of the Diocesan Diaconate. This important meeting brought together members and representatives of this organization from all the parishes of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa.

A rigorous assessment in service of the most disadvantaged

The work began with a thorough evaluation of the actions undertaken during the past pastoral year. The delegates frankly analyzed the logistical and structural challenges encountered in the field. They also shared concrete successes achieved in assisting vulnerable people, fostering a direct and constructive exchange of experiences.

Strategic planning and enhanced social impact

The second phase of the conference focused on future prospects. Faced with increasing hardship, the assembly laid the groundwork for new solidarity initiatives. Participants developed innovative strategies to optimize parish resources and maximize the social impact of this essential structure of the Church in Kinshasa.

A fitting adage : evaluating the good already accomplished remains the best way to serve better tomorrow.
