On June 19, 2026, Bishop Guy Mukassa Sanon presided over the institution of 59 new lectors and acolytes at the Wayalghin Major Seminary. This celebration marks a major and solemn milestone in these seminarians' journey toward the priesthood.

During a mass celebrated by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Bangui this Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Bangui, more than two hundred lay faithful from different parishes of the Archdiocese of Bangui were admitted to the ministry of the lectorate. This is the fifth edition for the Archdiocese of Bangui.
