On the Solemnity of the Assumption, we contemplate Mary, full of grace, faithful unto Calvary, and raised to the glory of the Father. Her obedience nourishes our hope and invites us to walk in confidence toward eternity.

Today, through his newborn fragility, Jesus reveals to us that true power comes from humility; through her listening, Mary teaches us that the family is strengthened through harmony and unity; through his obedience, Joseph teaches us that the family is safe from all danger through listening to and sharing the Word of God. Through his incarnation, may Christ save the families of the earth.
