Homélie de l'Année A #Solomon

On this 17th Sunday, this homily frees us from the carnal criteria of happiness and the trap of a utilitarian faith. Faced with the trivial, divine wisdom compels us to strip ourselves bare in order to welcome Christ, a true pearl of preciousness. Captivated by his wisdom, we become fishermen on a mission, capable of embracing everything for our own good.

Through his baptism, Jesus, the Word made flesh by the intervention of the Holy Spirit, covers us with grace so that we may hear his Father reveal to us: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Let us be witnesses to the baptism received on this Feast of the Baptism of our Lord Jesus.
