The mystery of the Holy Trinity, which the Church celebrates just after Pentecost Sunday, reveals to us the glory that God holds from before the beginning until eternity. The One God in Three Persons can only be better understood through the love he manifests and through the faith and hope of our disciples in him.

Our dear Mother is in Heaven. She lived on this planet where we constitute the visible Church. She is now alive with her Son in the invisible Church. On this day, let us strengthen our devotion to the one who never ceases to intercede for us.

On this day of Pentecost, we celebrate this marvelous gift that the Father gives us through his Son Jesus. The Holy Spirit reminds us of all that Christ said, so that we can proclaim it in turn. Every day the Church bathes us in the gifts of this Spirit through the various sacraments.

After his ascension, Christ exhorts us to wait with great patience for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Let us ask for the grace, during this time, to live in unity, which is a visible sign of the love of Christ's disciples.

Today we celebrate a great feast: the Solemnity of the Ascension. After his resurrection, we remained with Christ for 40 days before he departs from us today. He does not leave us orphans. He promises us his Spirit to continue the work he began.

On this second Sunday of Year C, we are invited to Cana to participate in the Lord's meal during which he takes care to transform the bread into his body and the wine into his blood. With the help of the Virgin Mary, let us enter this Eucharist with a purified heart.

Every time we gather in the Church under the impulse of the Holy Spirit, we manifest with gratitude the faith received in the Church since the day of our Baptism. In the footsteps of our Lord on this solemnity, we celebrate the mystery of his death and resurrection with the help of his Spirit.
