Saint Scholastica is one of the great female figures of Christian monasticism. A virgin consecrated to God, she is recognized as the spiritual and physical sister of Saint Benedict. Through her life of prayer, humility, and fraternal love, she profoundly marked the history of the Church and remains a model of contemplative life centered on God.

Saint Monica was born in 332 in Thagaste (present-day Souk Ahras, Algeria). She is best known as the mother of Saint Augustine, one of the greatest Fathers of the Church. Her patience, unwavering faith, and unceasing prayers were instrumental in her son's conversion to Christianity.

Saint Luke was born in Antioch to a pagan family. He embraced the Christian faith through Paul, remaining attached to him for 18 years until the latter's martyrdom in 67 AD. A proven intellectual, he mastered classical Greek and was a physician.
