Réunis à Kinshasa du 23 au 25 mars 2026, les évêques de la CENCO dénoncent la crise en RDC (p. 1). Sous la direction de Mgr Fulgence Muteba, ils rejettent la guerre et proposent un Pacte social pour la paix dans les Grands Lacs (p. 2). L'épiscopat réaffirme son unité pour la défense de la dignité humaine (p. 2).

Clôturant leur assemblée plénière ce 26 février 2026 à Kinshasa, les évêques de la CENCO ont lancé un appel pressant à la paix. Face à l'insécurité persistante dans l'Est, l'épiscopat exhorte au sursaut national et définit les nouvelles priorités pastorales de l'Église congolaise.

En marge de la CENCO, Mgr Joseph Mopepe, évêque de Molegbe, a visité ce 21 février les Sœurs Oblates du Cœur de Jésus à Mont-Ngafula. Accueilli par la Sœur Francine Makuma, le prélat a salué leur action dans la santé et l'éducation, soulignant que l'unité est le moteur du développement diocésain.
