Pour marquer sept décennies d’existence, l’Archidiocèse de Douala a organisé un pèlerinage mémorable à Marienberg. Sous l’égide de Mgr Samuel Kleda, des milliers de fidèles ont convergé vers ce berceau de l’Église catholique au Cameroun.

Le 26 février 2026, l’Archidiocèse de Bukavu a lancé le jubilé d’or de la convention de 1977 liant l’Église catholique et l’État congolais. Une messe à la cathédrale Notre-Dame de la Paix a marqué le début d'une année de réflexion sur la gestion des écoles conventionnées.

The Saint Alphonse de Matete parish, located in the heart of this large commune of the city of Kinshasa, renowned for its liveliness in pastoral work and rigorous liturgy, celebrated its 70th anniversary with a mass presided over by His Eminence Fridolin Cardinal Ambongo.

Remembering all the attention that Pope Francis shows to the Central African Church, the faithful of Bangui participated in the mass presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio in favor of the health of the Sovereign Pontiff.

Since the beginning of the year 2024, the Church of God in Central Africa had opened the jubilee of the 130th anniversary of the evangelization of the nation. Apart from multiple activities organized in the different dioceses, it was from the 3rd to the 5th that everything was focused on the national level to celebrate and close this great moment.

After its closure due to its dilapidated state, the Saint Hyppolyte Cathedral of Kikwit has just opened its doors this December 29, 202 after a year and five months. It was also the occasion for Monsignor Timothée Bodika to open the Holy Door according to the recommendation of the Universal Church for the Jubilee Year.

Sunday, December 29, 2025, as announced by his invitation to the people of God who are in Kinshasa, His Eminence Fridolin Cardinal Ambongo, Archbishop of Kinshasa, opened the Holy Door at the Notre Dame du Congo Cathedral. This festivity began with a pilgrimage from Bosembo College along the Avenue des Sciences towards Avenue 24 to land in front of the esplanade of the Cathedral, where the opening ceremonies of the Holy Door took place.
