Universal Church #Konde

Depuis son départ de Bangui le 2 septembre 2025, Monsieur l’abbé Jean-Marie Konde, prêtre de l’Archidiocèse de Kinshasa en mission Fidei donum dans l’Archidiocèse de Bangui, s’était engagé à faire un pèlerinage personnel avec le message d’espérance inspiré du jubilé ouvert par le Pape François le 24 décembre 2025.

Led by the theme "Here I am, send me", the preacher of the priestly retreat in the diocese of Bossangoa, Father Jean-Marie Konde, Fidei donum priest in the Archdiocese of Bangui, devoted himself to developing it in nine interviews and in the various Eucharistic celebrations and other spiritual exercises.

From June 30 to July 7, 2025, Monsignor Carlos Ndaka, Auxiliary Bishop Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa, spent the day in Bangui for pastoral reasons.

For quite some time now, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Bangui has been rekindling joy in the hearts of children in difficult situations to celebrate Christmas. As soon as the Advent High Point begins, the parish, through the parish youth office (CPPJ), shares envelopes with the faithful to collect the funds needed to celebrate more than two hundred children on Christmas Day by offering them food, juice, water and gifts.
