Le Pape a érigé Berbérati en seconde province ecclésiastique sous la direction de Mgr Agbenyadzi et nommé le Père Joseph Samedi archevêque coadjuteur de Bangui. Cette réorganisation, annoncée par le nonce Giuseppe Laterza, vise à décentraliser et renforcer la gouvernance de l'Église en Centrafrique.

The 13th ACERAC Assembly concluded on February 1st in Chad with a message of unity. Under the leadership of its new president, Bishop Bertrand Appora Ngalanibé, the Church in Central Africa pledged to be closer to the people and more proactive in addressing the continent's social challenges. This organizational success was praised by all the delegations.
