The Church of God in Mbaïki, Central African Republic, has just had a new vicar general. This is Father Emmanuel Xyste Angoulouano, who until now was the rector of the minor seminary. He is handing over this office to Deacon Sixte Kiyoyo, who was the academic secretary.

In the diocesan structure of the Archdiocese of Bangui, there is a commission dealing with the ongoing training of priests, headed by Monsignor Vicar General Mathieu Bondobo and assisted by Abbots Philippe Grebalet and Jean-Marie Konde.

During a mass celebrated by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Bangui this Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Bangui, more than two hundred lay faithful from different parishes of the Archdiocese of Bangui were admitted to the ministry of the lectorate. This is the fifth edition for the Archdiocese of Bangui.

The day after the celebration of Saint Mary Mother of God, on Thursday, January 2, 2025, His Eminence Dieudonné Cardinal Nzapalainga met with all the pastoral agents working in the Archdiocese of Bangui at the Paproisse Saint Paul des Rapides, one of the historical jewels of the Central African Church.
