Following the official announcement of the death of Pope Francis by the Vatican in the morning, the Archdiocese of Kinshasa, through its Archbishop Fridolin Cardinal Ambongo, organized the service for the dead at the cathedral at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025.
