On Friday, July 5, 2024, all of Buta had the joy of welcoming His Eminence Fridolin Cardinal AMBONGO and His Excellency the Apostolic Nuncio, who came for the episcopal ordination of His Excellency Mgr Martin BANGA, new Bishop of Buta.

The Cantate Domino Jury is an initiative of Father Jean-Marie KONDE in 2016 in the Archdiocese of Kinshasa. Under the legal cover of his Peace on Earth Foundation, this jury is a para-pastoral activity to encourage choirs in decent competitions of emulation.

Eleven years later, the faithful of Yapele can beat their chests with pride for having completed this great project under the masterly hand of their current parish priest, Father Capistran. Since February 23, 2024, Father Aurelio has been appointed Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Bangassou in the Central African Republic. By a press release of May 14 from the Chancellery of the Archdiocese of Bangui, all priests were made aware of the said day and its program.

The Universal Church celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. Our dear Mother is in Heaven.
