In a mass celebrated at the parish of Saint Hilaire de Mulambula by the Pastor of this beautiful diocese, the faithful participated in an exceptional liturgy where they observed with their own eyes the sacramental change brought about by the imposition of the bishop's hands on the deacons who had become priests.

Having passed away on August 26, 2024 at the community hospital while praying the rosary, Monsignor Marie-Joseph Ngoui will be buried in Konbgo on Friday, September 27, 2024. Continuing the program of his 15 years of priesthood in Kinshasa, Father Jean-Marie Konde celebrated this Saturday, September 21, 2024, the mass at the Saint Etienne parish with the students of the Institut de la Colline de Kisenso. This institute is the school where Father Konde obtained his baccalaureate in 1996. Twenty-eight years later, on the occasion of his 15 years of priesthood, this mass dedicated to the Holy Spirit was also the occasion of the opening of the 2024-2025 school year for the Institut de la Colline.

It was with emotion and heartache that we learned on Monday, August 26, 2024 in Kinshasa, the sad news of the unexpected death of His Excellency Monsignor Dominique Bulamatari, Bishop Emeritus of Molegbe. As misfortune does not always come alone, it is also with dismay that we subsequently learned the news of the death, also in Kinshasa, on Monday, September 9, 2024 of Father Henry Hunda, parish priest of the Saint Fidèle parish of Abuzi. Once again, the irrevocable constitutive of being, death, manifested itself by plunging our diocese into affliction.

The Archdiocese of Bangui is moving to the rhythm of the 2024-2025 pastoral year that His Eminence Cardinal Dieudonné Nzapalainga, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bangui, has just opened this Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Bangui. It will end on September 20, 2024 to make way on Saturday for the preparation of the great closing mass of the year, priestly ordinations and the official opening of the 2024-2025 pastoral year.

It was on January 17, 2024 that His Holiness Pope Francis appointed a bishop to head the Diocese of Wamba in the DRC. The opportunity, according to the established calendar, arose for Monsignor Emmanuel Ngona to be invested with the episcopate and lead the Diocese of Wamba as his own pastor. Monsignor Donatien Nshole, Secretary General of CENCO and Chaplain of His Holiness Pope Francis did not go there with the back of the dead hand during his last descent into this arbitrarily divided terrain. Despite the steps taken by the ecclesiastical authorities to the courts to defend this terrain of the Church, malicious people holding a temporary power impose themselves against justice.

We are in the Archdiocese of Bangui where each parish is rising up to restore the image of its buildings. The Saint Jacques parish, under the leadership of its priest, Father Xavier FAGBA, is stepping up to the plate with a modern school building that grows from the ground like a baobab. Under the slogan "the impossible is not Saint Jacques", all the faithful are mobilizing by rallying behind their priest so that in the days to come their students will be sheltered in an ideal setting for school training.
