On February 1st and 2nd, 2026, the Saint-Bernard parish in Bangui celebrated the 30th World Day for Consecrated Life. This jubilee brought together Central African youth for testimonies of faith and religious for discussions on the challenges facing the Church in Africa. Father Jean-Marie Konde Muanda concluded with a meditation inspired by Vultum Dei Quaerere, calling for a bold and transformative consecrated life.

Following the ordinary session of the Central African episcopate held in early January 2026, the Church in the Central African Republic is strengthening its efforts to support the most vulnerable. It is within this framework that the Episcopal Commission for Migrants and Refugees (CEMIR) met in Bangui to define its priorities in the face of the country's current humanitarian challenges.
