On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the cathedral of the diocese of M'Baïki resounded with songs and prayers on the occasion of the solemn mass of institution of the second class of catechists.

During a mass celebrated by the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Bangui this Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Bangui, more than two hundred lay faithful from different parishes of the Archdiocese of Bangui were admitted to the ministry of the lectorate. This is the fifth edition for the Archdiocese of Bangui.

Sunday, December 29, 2025, as announced by his invitation to the people of God who are in Kinshasa, His Eminence Fridolin Cardinal Ambongo, Archbishop of Kinshasa, opened the Holy Door at the Notre Dame du Congo Cathedral. This festivity began with a pilgrimage from Bosembo College along the Avenue des Sciences towards Avenue 24 to land in front of the esplanade of the Cathedral, where the opening ceremonies of the Holy Door took place.

For quite some time now, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Bangui has been rekindling joy in the hearts of children in difficult situations to celebrate Christmas. As soon as the Advent High Point begins, the parish, through the parish youth office (CPPJ), shares envelopes with the faithful to collect the funds needed to celebrate more than two hundred children on Christmas Day by offering them food, juice, water and gifts.

For this pastoral year 2024-2025, the first conference will be offered this Thursday, November 28, 2024 under the theme: On the way to the 130 of evangelization in Central Africa. Do not miss especially the themes that will be presented later such as: The importance of having a healthy lifestyle and the dangers of self-medication; How to avoid the failure of a schooled child?; Sacrament of Confirmation and irregular situations;...
