It is since yesterday, Monday, June 16, 2025, that His Excellency Monsignor José-Bernard LIKOLO, our Apostolic Administrator, has been staying in the Diocese in anticipation of the episcopal ordination of our newly appointed Bishop, Monsignor Joseph Mopepe.

After the celebration of Pentecost, the following Monday, a public holiday in the CAR, the presbytery of the Archdiocese of Bangui, led by Archbishop Dieudonné Cardinal Nzapalainga, met 35 km from the city of Bangui at the parish of Saint Jean-Baptiste in Bimo for the diocesan day of priests, 2025 edition.

Cardinal Dieudonné Nzapalainga conferred the sacrament of Confirmation on 97 Christians at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, June 8, 2025, Pentecost Sunday.

The Kabwe Minor Seminary is a formation house that welcomes and supervises young boys aged 12 to 18, called "Minor Seminarians." Its main mission is to prepare young people for the ministerial priesthood, while contributing to the formation of responsible citizens.

The annual pilgrimage was launched in Fribourg in 2002, jointly by the White Fathers and Missio, the Swiss branch of the Pontifical Mission Societies. This is its 25th edition, presided over by the Bishop of Uvira, Monsignor Sébastien-Joseph Muyengo.

The sessions of this capacity building session for priests in judicial matters are scheduled for Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 May 2024 in Nyakasanza, under the high patronage of HE Mgr Dieudonné Uringi, Bishop of Bunia.
